# Ascension

Ascension is a Plushie Old Guardian exclusive action that elevates a rookie into a Plushie Guardian.

This is the only way to generate new Plushies Guardians NFTs and grow the player base.

#### To perform the Ascension, Plushies OGs:

• increase by one unit the ascension counter

• burn an NFT Rookie

• burn $Anima token

• Matic fee

The result is a new Plushie Guardian NFT whose characteristics are inherited from the OG and Rookie involved in the Ascension.

Each of the 10,000 OGs is limited by a 99 ascension counter. No other plushies can create new plushies and no other OGs can be created after the mint of the initial 10,000, making Plushies OGs a Factory NFT class.

Limiting Plushie OGs' ascension actions ensures that the maximum amount of characters with play-to-earn access is 1,000,000 plushies, an important factor for long-term economic sustainability.

As an OG's ascension counter increases, the $Anima cost for new Ascensions rise as well.

While Anima can be earned in PVP matches, Rookies are awarded to players who complete the Plushie Guardians: Bootcamp minigame or bought from those who completed it.
