Plushie Guardians: Incursion is getting a new update with PVE content in a rogue-lite journey full of battles to reach and beat the boss in a challenging fight. In the near future, PVE will award resources used in crafting and artifacts to change equipment skin, but before that, players and OG owners are invited to stress it for every kind of bugs!
This bug hunt season is not lasting long though. It goes from June 28th at the right moment PVE feature launches, up to July 12th. By July 14th the results will be shared and the winners rewarded from the 10,000 USD pool.
For the first time, the bug hunt is exclusive for OG Owners, since they are the only ones able to play the PVE. So, in order to participate, you need to get two OG Plushie Guardians, set up an account in our marketplace (which is also your game account), download the game and start hunting for bugs in PVE campaign. Let's go through it step by step.
You need at least 2 plushies to get into a PVE battle. Mint your Plushie OGs on the mint page or buy them from an OG owner in the Open Sea or in our own marketplace. If you choose to mint your plushies, be aware that there are three price ranges depending on if your wallet is in a whitelist. If it is not in the OG Whitelist or the basic Whitelist, you can mint your plushies using the Public price option.
Sign up with Metamask wallet in our marketplace and set up an email and password. You can choose a profile name and picture, but that's optional. This email and password will be used to login into the game.
From the link above you can download the .msi Launcher Installer, or you can do it from the marketplace as well. Once you install and run the launcher, it is going to download the game files. When it is ready, you will be able to run the game and log in with your created account. But remember, even though anyone can download and run the game, only Plushie's owners will be able to see them in the menu and bring them into PVE matches.
Join PVE matches and if you find a bug, take a screenshot or record a video, then fill out a form reporting what happened.
Each form can only have one bug, so if you find more than one, make a form for each one of them. Keep reading for additional information and rules, then start your hunting!
PVE Bug Hunt Contest starts on June 28th, 2023 and ends on July 12th, 2023. Results with winners will be made public on July 14th, 2023, when rewards will begin to be delivered.
Any bug may be reported, from minor visual and audio glitches to eventual major game-breaking flaws, including weird in-battle behaviors or PVE campaign map inconsistencies.
Connection issues may not be seen as bugs if they are deemed to be on the user side or if they can't be reproduced.
Bad AI is not necessarily a bug, unless it is doing something that clearly it was not supposed to be doing - for instance, if its attack is not causing damage or if instead of healing an ally it is healing a foe, or if it just got stuck for any reason and is passing turns without acting etc. If in doubt, submit a bug. If you think the case is for improving its strategy, submit a suggestion at Discord.
Eventual balancing issues are not bugs, but we do encourage you to submit a suggestion for improvement at Discord.
Bugs submitted will be validated by the team and when the same bug is submitted multiple times by different players only the first submission may be validated. The team will have total discretion to decide on the matter.
You can submit as many forms as you want.
The rewards will follow a category system. By the end of the event, the player's total bugs hunted will get him into a category defined by its total bugs range, granting the player the category's reward.
Category | Total Bugs Range | Reward |
---|---|---|
Welcome to the jungle | 1-2 bugs | 10 usd |
Your everyday hunter | 3-5 bugs | 30 usd |
The Veterans | 6-10 bugs | 70 usd |
Guild's Grand Master | 11-20 bugs | 130 usd |
Lord of the Bugs | 21+ bugs | 200 usd |
If you find a bug, follow these steps to report it:
Submit a detailed report to the contest team using the form on this page. The report should include information about the problem, such as how/when/where it occurred, how it was reproduced, and any relevant screenshots or video recordings. It must also have your polygon wallet (the wallet that holds the Plushie OG NFTs) and the e-mail used in your Plushie Guardians' account.
Wait for results: After submitting the report, wait for confirmation from the contest team. If the bug was validated, added to your total bugs count when results are shared.
Receive reward: once the bugs you reported are validated, you will be in one of the reward categories and shall receive your prize accordingly in the informed wallet.
Remember that only qualified bugs will be considered for the contest. Unqualified bugs include hardware or software problems that are not specific to the game, problems that do not affect the user experience or game structure at all, or problems that could not be reproduced after extensive trials by the team.
Bugs can only be reported by the official form provided on this page or any Plushie Guardians' official communication.
It is up to the players to make the report as clear and objective as possible in order to have the occurrence fully comprehended by devs so that it can be addressed, reproduced, validated and solved.
The wallet informed in the report must be the same holding the Plushie OG NFTs used in the registered bug occurrence.
Rewards will only be sent to the informed wallet as long as it holds at least two Plushie OG NFTs.
If you have any questions about how to report a qualified bug, please contact the contest team for more information.
